Founder and Principal
Mr. Skinner earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and went on to a stellar career at Wayne State University Law School. While working full-time as a law clerk, Mr. Skinner attended Wayne State at night and graduated magna cum laude. While at Wayne State, he earned numerous honors and served as a Senior Articles Editor on the Wayne Law Review.
Mr. Skinner founded his firm after serving as an associate attorney at a prominent and well-respected Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, law firm. Before he became an attorney, he spent five years as a law clerk in appellate practice at a downtown Detroit law firm, gaining the experience that allowed him to devote his work to appeals and to jump ahead of his peers when he became an attorney.
Mr. Skinner is admitted to the United States Supreme Court, multiple Federal Circuit and District Courts across the country, and the Michigan State Bar.
Mr. Skinner is the primary attorney on all projects. As necessary, and in consultation with the client, other attorneys may be brought in to assist on an as-needed basis.
